Exactly. Adriana has only known this guy for a few months. She shouldn't be doing ONE thing under his influence as far as her career is concerned. She has lived this life and had this career for longer than she has known him. He is not meant to help her in anyway, in this division of her life. Thats like letting him be a step dad to her kids when they ain't even married yet. Until there is a ring on her finger, he shouldn't have any kind of say nor suggestion on what she does. Not him, not his book. 

 

Its just so painful having to watch this again. We get dejavu here, how come she doesn't get it by now. In the words of Rihanna, "never. get. too.comfortable". As soon as Adriana does with these guys, she makes out of the way decisions influenced by them, and she ignores what her fans say,  it blows up in her face.

That’s the crazy thing about a lot of men. They want to be with the sexy beautiful woman desired by all. But once they have her, they start with the, “You look more beautiful with no make-up on,” and stuff like they want her to dress more conservatively, stop the sexy things she put out into the world before and be just for him etc.

I don't really understand (does anyone really, at this point since it's such a vague post) if this is all about VS or something different, but in the end, she should've handled whatever this is in a different way. This is far from classy especially since she has been so well known for like what, almost 20 years?? As a long time fan this is probably the first time that I really start doubting her and who she really is.

 

@Souled-Out About her stubborn-ness, well she's a Gemini... They can be extremely stubborn and don't like to listen to other people their advice. They also change their mind pretty much constantly so I don't think that helps with all of this. I can definitely see her making a new post in like 2 weeks saying how proud she is to be back with VS shooting lingerie or whatever really. I hope that this will all be cleared up soon.

I just came back home since yesterday I wasn't there, and seeing this very controversial thing I made a post explaining what I think on my Adriana's fan blog on tumblr, so since it basically contains everything I have to say about this I just copied it here so I don't have to write it all again.

 

First, I want to say that ig post is very confusing, and I’m not attacking her English like many haters usually do, but the way it was written itself, since it is open to a lot of interpretations. Not to be disrespectfull or anything, but she could have said it a little better without creating such rumors.

Imo the “sexy video” she is referring to is for Love Magazine advent calendar, sine the first videos are coming out now and they are going to continue even in January, from what I heard. She did it already many times in the past, and with the Easter one last year they crossed the line: (I think I already said that so sorry if I repeat myself) last years video wasn’t gross only thanks to Adriana, who has the gift/talent to be sensual and feminine but with class, everytime (one of the things I always loved of her modeling). But the director was trying to go the opposite way all the time, with daring views of her naked body (even almost showing her intimate parts) and overall it almost felt like a struggle between Adriana’s way of do things and the way the director wanted it to look. The result was good and still tastefull, but only thanks to her. And it’s not the first time Love Magazine does this kind of things, literally their overly sexualised videos are becoming the norm for them (look at this year’s videos…). If that is the way you portray fashion and women, sorry I don’t feel the same way, there are tons of classier and more elegant way to show the beauty of a woman (see Russell James nudes books for example). Her timing is exactly coincident to their advent calendars videos, so I believe it’s this she is talking about in her post and in this case (becuase being so open to interpretations I may be wrong, nobody but her knows what she was really hinting to at this point) I completely support her, and once again she proved to us what an amazing human being she is, showing us that she cares of the image of woman she represent, and she doens’t want to portray an image that she doesn’t believe is the right one.

I don’t think she is talking about VS here, she said, and I quote, “ I will not take of my clothes anymore for a empty cause“. She always loved the way VS portrayed women in her long career with them, and said it countless times. While that company s getting trashier every year for a lt of reasons, they are definitely far from oversexualizing women like Love Magazine does in that videos. And she just did the fashion show in Shanghai less then a month ago, and she was very happy of being there and she had lots of fun, we all saw it in the videos and pictures. She even did a live instagram video at the tv premiere party of the show, showing us she was watching it and thanking us for being there to support her and to watch her. One who doesn’t like what she is doing doesn’t look that happy all the time and doesn’t share it live on ig, considering the only other time she did that was for the first day of the year celebrations. Again, I may be wrong, but I definitely don’t think so, knowing how much that brand was part of her life and still is, and how she always was and is loyal to them (a loyalty that the brand nowadays is more and more unworthy of, but that’s VS fault, not hers).

That said, I saw the comments that £@$%&^”# (= long list of bad names in my native Italian, too vulgar to be reported here) of her boyfriend wrote on instagram, showing once again the thirst he has for fame and for profiting of her name, and the total lack of class that he had in this relationship since day one. Many fans are worried that behind this decision he has a big role, since he is influencing her deeply in her daily life with all his “spiritual crap” (sorry don’t misunderstand me, I am not saying that spirituality, considered and lived in a serious way, is a bad thing, but what this guy says, from him being able to heal people with his touch and similar shit, is total bullshit and not what spirituality is all about). I am worried too, I was since day one when they started their relationship, (and I said it very clearly many times), and I grew more and more each day seeing how much she seems to basically worship him like some sort of messiah (from one of her old ig posts where she talks about him being a master and stuff…) and how she is changing because of him. I fear he may exploit this vulnerability she has being in this sensitive phase of her life and completely brainwash her to do what he wants. It’s what these con artists do, they fake to be some sort of spiritual master with almost divine powers and wisdom and thye only exploit you, it’s a very common thing sadly, just here in Italy almost daily people like this gets arrested and put in jail becase of robbing the people they had faith in them, or worse they convince sick people to not believe in doctors and they die for things that could have been cured instead. I just hope I am right of seeing this message as a thing she did to show us she refuses to portray a bad image of woman, and it comes all from her and it’s not influenced by this fake guru.

Time will tell what the real meaning of this is, so we will see. For now, we can just hope for the best.

Nobody have said that Victoria secret is really vulgar and I understand why she wants to leave , but Victoria secret is fashion, lingerie is fashion clothes , when you work for Victoria secret you don't take your clothes because you wear clothes  , so I don't understand this conversation about VS !!!

martha,sara and not sure about VS. She never followed the other new angels except Lais. I mean she unfollowed like 30 people this week so its nothing wrong with that, but after her post i thought it's strange many are VS related. Maybe on monday they bring a statement and clear it up. So many speculations and theories around now. I think she tried to give us a good message about the pressure from the fashion industrie but i wished she was more specific and not so vague.

He liked a comment someone wrote on one of his pictures. "You dodged a bullet when you dumped adriana early she's pathetic and that b**ch is wildly unstable ?" something like that. He deleted the comment  but the instagram account I pasted maybe has the exact words/screen shot. Maybe it's not that big of a deal. He didn't write it himself it came off more like he was laughing at her. In my opinion though he didn't need to do that it's a bit petty. I don't know. Basically everyone is hating on her except for the support she's getting in instagram comments. All non models and non teenagers seem to be annoyed by her. 

 

I hope she cleans this up soon.
