Self-Introduction & Q&A

So, hi everyone!

I normally don't do these (introductions and the like) especially on boards that are more centered on the content than the self, but hey, I'm also curious about some of you guys so I'mma start with myself. Bare in mind I don't expect you to go as in depth as me (although you're gladly welcome to do so below if you feel like it), and if I tag you and you don't feel like answering some questions (or any at all), I'll completely understand. After all, we all like the "anonymity" here but I'm just curious about some of you is all, put a human behind a username and a (often sexy) avatar.

Speaking of usernames, before I forget, @wndmkr, I'm always curious about the origin of your name. Trying to fit the vowels I can come up with "windmaker" but please tell me! (/us).

After 116 posts here since 2 years, only became more active recently, I don't know that many of you so I'll just tag a few of you. Again, answer what you like, if anything at all (or if you wrote an intro somewhere, feel free to link to it).

 

Me:
I'm a 35 year old male from Canada (Montreal to be precise, and yes, I also speak french). I'm a programmer, as well as web dev, web app dev, lots of code related things dev, I just love coding. My strengths are in php, mysql, as well as html, css, etc when browser markup is necessary as is often the case but I much prefer not touching the design side of things. I also make music, from composing to interpreting (guitar, vocals, and when necessary, bass), had a few bands but now am focusing on producing myself so with the years I've become pretty good at mixing. For those unfamiliar with mixing, it's not like making a remix, it's more mixing elements within a DAW, from a drum kick to a snare to guitars (& bass) to vocals, as well as understanding EQ, compression, delay, and a gazzilion things that make a song or album sound great. That part (music) rarely generated money so I mostly do it because I love writing/executing/producing so much.

I have an incredible girlfriend, we've been together for a year and a half now. Since we're on Bellazon, I don't need to shy from it: she's got an amazing body. I've always been more of an ass guy than a boobs guy but she's the first one to make me believe in the beauty of boobs (IRL, I mean). The only other example I could come up with that are closest to her boobs are Mellisa Clarke's (I was astonished at first to be honest). Never liked fake boobs either.

So to keep this short, I'll leave it at that.
