My wishlist is simple:

 

No Sophia

No Monica

No Ed

Yay! I finally caught up after 150 pages. I know I don’t have to go through all of it but the photos are interesting and you guys are entertaining. Here are my thoughts:

• They should retire those damn wings on Gizele. It was Adriana’s on 2013 and Romee’s on 2015 and I’ve seen it on a couple of commercials too. They’re beautiful wings but enough with the recycling.

• Liu Wen should stop walking for this show. Clearly, they don’t like her enough to give her decent oufits. Ever since 2009, she’s either gotten unremarkable outfits at best or shit outfits. At least, she looked great. 

• Martha’s body looked phenomenal. She has to have more control of her arms when she walks, though. 

• Elsa’s face did look different this year. If she really had work done, her old face was better. Still gorgeous nonetheless. 

• Barbara F’s body looked great, per usual. I was never a fan of her face but she looked stunning on the runway

• Nadine looks like Erin in some of her backstage photos. 

• Shame that Toni only got one outfit. One of the best faces and bodies of the show and only one outfit 

• Excluding the mess that was the Mary K segment, the outfits were less covered up this year which I’m very happy about. In previous years, the outfit would either cover their torso or their legs, sometimes both . So it’s nice to see a handful of outfits that showcased both. Also having fewer tacky thigh high boots are always a plus.

• I wish they opened with a remix. When they open with a performer, they usually use their highest profile performer, right?  They hired a bunch of b-list singers for this show and they let the d-list singer open the show! Lol. 

• I don’t find Candice’s Golden Angels outfit ugly. Maybe she just carried it extremely well but they don’t look that bad to me.

• Speaking of Golden Angels, can someone explain to me how the name relates to the outfits? I don’t think there was a single gold element on that section. Am I taking it to literally?

• Finally, it was a better show than 2017 but that’s a low bar to clear. They really need to fire Sophia and hire a new creative director. That woman’s taste is just so questionable.

-No more goddamn collabs please. It’s a waste of money and it’s so fucking tacky. After the Mary K collab, I just hope VS strains from these designer collaborations in the future and it doesn’t become a norm.

-axe Sophia, Ed, and Monica and hire a whole new team of people who actually care for the reputation of the brand and value quality over quantity 

-Also I’m gonna need my remixes back please...Shawn Mendes was the only “A-list” (more B-list imo) performer and stood out like a sore thumb with the other nobodies. There should be 2-3 performers MAX. This year’s show felt like a damn music awards show with all the performers. 

-BRING BACK THE OG GLAMAZON GLITTER RUNWAY circa 2003-2007! I used to love watching a model’s heels stomp fiercely on it and you would see glitter flowing in the air as they walk

-and finally, GIVE THE ANGELS 3 OUTFITS! How the fuck you managed to have 7 segments this year yet still NONE of your Angels..not even your 3 veterans ESPECIALLY Adriana got 3 looks? ridiculous. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I think Golden Angels is meant to reflect golden era of women, as in the era of 1980s and 1990s. Not the theme itself. Even then, the fact that Candice wore a shirt for the runway is just ridiculous. It's a lingerie fashion show FFS.

^ +1 on the collab. Was anybody here aware of Mary K before this? Is it true that she only got to work with VS because of her friendship with Sophia? That segment was just atrocious. The only thing worth watching on that segment when it airs is Shawn.

Literally found out about her when they announced the collab lmaooo and yes, she and Sophia are really good friends and have been for 10+ years. They’re both Greek-British too which I found interesting

Why haven't the producers/executives realized that spamming the audience with C-list pop stars is NOT going to improve ratings? I wish I could name segments over recent years that are as iconic and amazing as Antigravity Pop Circus and Sexy Santa's Helpers 😫

I haven't posted something about what i think about the show because i got tired after the beautiful fiasco. I enjoyed watching it from the clips and photos we got and I thank everyone for delivering it here for us to see. Here are my thoughts that I just wanted to put out here.

 

So happy on what my favorite Angel trio, that I would like to refer as J.E.T., had gotten on the show in terms of outfit, wings, and their angel incentives lmao (i don't know anything else to say it).

 

I'm so proud of baby Tay! she got to open the show! although it's suspect i'm just really happy she got this wonderful and renowned opportunity. Her body was fire though her outfit was not great but it wasn't that bad either. I love the wings that went with it. beautiful, stunning, gorgeous young lady. second outfit was alright but i just couldn't get past to think that it looked awfully the same as to the one she was given in the Goddesses segment during last year's show. 

 

Elsa I'm so fucking ecstatic for this woman. She finally got the FB! I was rooting for her last year but to my dismay well she got it this year so. I love the wings that went with the FB and I also like her outfit in CA. She looks new this year with the shorten hair and her body? insane as usual. Even though her FB was underwhelming at a design standpoint, I'm still glad it's hers and an FB is still an FB and with that made her name written in VS history books with a highlight. 

 

Josephine's body looks uh-mazing. love her wings in GR surely was not a fan of her outfit in FF. I seriously think if they ditched the pants it would looked so much better in comparison to the final output. love how her wings in GR went with the theme of the outfit that was great. 

 

Candice looks good as ever after 5 months of labor. DAMN. the woman outdoes herself every year it seems like. boobs, ass , face, WALK, the woman is perfect for this company and her presence announced like she was going to be VS' main bitch. thumbs down on the t-shirt outfit though her look at the CA segment however was splendid. Behati looks great too she looks bombshell as ever now with her body going through maternal changes simple but nice outfit in DA and good outfit and wings in GR. Lais looks bomb in CA, one of the best looks in the show and her body made it look more sooo alluring. I think no one could've carried that outfit like Lais can. it was specifically made for her. Jasmine looks stunning! her FF outfit was cute! her floral wings on GG was beautiful. Sara, beautiful. I like her outfit in GR and her wings in CA were amazing. Felt like the outfit could've been better with added accessories or such but nonetheless it still looked great on her. jury's still out on Stella cause I wasn't excited for both of her looks yikes..glad she opened a segment though. Martha had THE worst outfit in my opinion. A trashbag??? really? I'm glad she had one of the better outfits in FoF. 

 

 

I don't have any opinions of the management and how the show should be run on the future. I'm quite amused though by everyone's inputs and rants here because it's the same every year and VS just won't heed to it lmaoooo. I can't wait to watch the show and see these sexy beautiful women in motion and how everything goes with the editing and music. I'm kinda excited.

Idk if this was posted, but Behati was asked how long she thinks she's willing to be in the show and she replied "Maybe another 10 years?" Maybe it was a nervous answer just to get the woman out of the way and not sparkle the rumor she might be gone, but I'm genuinely thinking that she had this thought of maybe doing the show and then say goodbye, but then saw how much she missed it and the energy and everything else and now she's rinconsidering it.
