Despite only acting professionally for five years, Jessica is quickly making her mark in all areas of acting. She first turned heads in indie productions such as Stardom, broke our hearts in Lost and Delirious, played the catalyst for karmic intervention in Bollywood/Hollywood, and somehow pulled off being a secret villain in Posers. She then went onto made-for-tv movies, starting with a small role in Bonnano: A Godfather's Tale. She eventually was part of the twice Gemini nominated mini-series, Random Passage. Now she can be seen on CTV, most recently as Nancy Eaton in The Death and Life of Nancy Eaton, and The Lives of the Saints. She's going to make her major motion picture debut as Josh Hartnett's fiancee in Wicker Park, opening September 3rd, 2004. The biggest project south of the border will be the new drama series on the WB, Jack and Bobby, which will premiere later this fall.

Laughingly shrugging off her recent status as one of the 25 most beautiful people in Canada, Pare prioritized her family life and commented boldly on her refusal to jeopardize her close relationships in favor of a career in film.

Her father, Anthony Pare, is chair of the Department of Educational Studies at McGill University. Her mother is Louise Mercier, a translator.

Jessica speaks French.

She attended Montreal College.

I only recently discovered Jessica while watching "Wicker Park". Though flawed, I still think she is stunning. I found her more attractive than Rose Byrne. I wonder why its so hard to find pictures of her on the net!

I'll tell ya what I like about this woman. WHile she can share the screen with women that are technically more beautiful, she still keeps your eye because her beauty seems more real. Alot of actresses and models out there spend hours in a gym and makeup room to seem perfect. Jessica Pare, on the other hand, has a beauty that is approachable.
