bump Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 i was just thinking about how much I liked Elsa for Free People...I'm on summer break and have been going through her thread, and found pictures from 2013 that are just beautiful. I wonder if she'll ever work for them again, or maybe she has worked for them again and I didn't know? i just started following her again so I know I missed a lot of stuff. just a random thought. Good for her for getting Fendi!!! I don't like anything she's wearing in those little Fendi videos, but whatever, it's still a big deal. Quote
Beauty Junky Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Congratulations Elsa for getting the Fendi gig. It’s major for her! Quote
everyboulevard Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I heard its not actually the pre-fall campaign but just a lookbook. Either way, surprised to see Fendi book her considering Karl's Fendi Faves. Quote
Clauds Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 I like the look for the most part, except the makeup, her eyebrows were looking too dark which IMO clashes too much with the lipstick and idk, something's off and I hate it but I'm a picky bitch lol, the dress and shoes I adore tho. Quote
toodarnhot Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 CR Fashion Book ph: Huy Luong Back when Destiny's Child ruled the radio-waves and Paris and Nicole starred on the silver screen, oversized bags, specifically worn on the crook of your arm (and sometimes carrying a certain famous chihuahua), was the early noughties trend that was apparently here to stay. Then, our bags started to shrink smaller and smaller, with Simon Porte Jacquemus debuting a three-inch purse on the Spring/Summer 2018 runway, counting Kim Kardashian and Rihanna as fans. Tiny bags became all the rage, from Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, and Brandon Maxwell, to Hermès, whose famous roomy Birkin purse was swapped out for micro purses on the Spring/Summer 2017 runway. CR riffs on the experimentation with extreme proportions, showcasing big and small, micro and maxi on model-of-the-moment Elsa Hosk. Quote

Prettyphile Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Victoria's Secret Angel Elsa Hosk Opens Up About Her Struggles With Alcoholism Victoria's Secret Angel Elsa Hosk has revealed she once battled alcoholism in her late teens in a candid Instagram Q&A with her 5.3 million followers. The 30-year-old model, who was given the honour of wearing the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra in 2018, was asked by a follower whether she "smokes or drinks", and responded with a lengthy paragraph about her sobriety. "I got sober when I was 20. It's been 10 years of no drinking," Hosk revealed. "Being sober for me didn't mean that my life came to an end (which I thought at the time) it was the beginning of a real, beautiful, big, happy successful life. Quite the opposite of what I thought! "It was a struggle in the beginning because I'm an alcoholic (something you have to remind yourself of for the rest of your life) but it's the best decision I ever made. It's ok not to drink or do drugs." Hosk was also candid about her smoking habits, adding: "I quit smoking 2 years ago. I still vape, hope to quit that too one day." It's the first time the Swedish-born model has spoken about her battle with sobriety. The revelation came as part of an 'ask me anything' session Hosk held with her Instagram followers, in which she also shared glimpses inside her impressive wardrobe, and some insight into her daily diet habits. Hosk is not the only Victoria's Secret model who has spoken about struggles with substance abuse. Former angel Gisele Bündchen said in her autobiography that she relied on "stimulants and depressants to get me through the day" during her early days in the industry. "Coffee to get me going in the morning. Cigarettes to punctuate the long hours and create a space for me at work without anyone—stylists, hair people, makeup people—touching me. Steak, burgers, french fries, pasta, pizza, candy, and whatever else to keep up my energy. Red wine to relax me and help me fall asleep," she said. https://www.elle.com.au/celebrity/elsa-hosk-alcoholic-20676 Quote

It's nice to see her expanding on it, and having such a healthy mindset regarding addiction. Hopefully she manages to kick vaping entirely soon. Edit: It also kind of helps "explain" why, or might be a reason why, Elsa doesn't tend to hang out with Angels like Taylor and Sara and Jas, who seem to be pretty heavy into the partying with "Tequila Taylor" and all their big Vegas parties etc. Quote
