U.K. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 What if you want to embed a video and have it start at a particular time in the video, eg. start 51 seconds into the video? With a youtube link you can use #t=00m51s at the end of the link and will it start 51 seconds in, but if you embed it, it doesn't, it starts at the beginning of the video when that's not always what you would want.Could we please have an option for embedded youtube videos to be started at a particular time within the video, like the #t=00m51s option does for youtube links? sarnic Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I can't post videos anymore, it always says error on page Quote
Joe > Average Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Unfortunately the technical aspect of BZ is out of my depth , but seems to work fine for me . Can you see this ? I do know however, it won't work if you post the url with the "related" tags that come from clicking a video from a group of videos on the side of a video like this . In such case you would have to just copy and paste the title into the youtube search and get the pure url from the home list, which would look like this Quote
sarnic Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I love that you posted a video a Valentina and yes I can see when other people post videos, but I can't get the box to put the url in to come up for some reason.. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It must just be my computer though since everyone else seems to be working Thanks for the help Joe Quote

CarMELita Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Doesn't vimeo has an embed-function? Doesn't it work on BZ?Wait a sec ...<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/29760445?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&color=ffffff" width="400" height="225" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen allowFullScreen></iframe><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/29760445">Jiberish Fall 2011 Lookbook</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/michaelclarke">Michael Clarke</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p> Quote

It's a case of taking the eight-digit number at the end of the URL (in this instance, 29760445) and wrapping it in 'vimeo' tags. So the code should look something like this... [vimeo]29760445[/vimeo] Which should then give you this... Quote
