❤️ is a very common name in Argentina not in Brazil Quote
josledes Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Ariel is a masculine name, is more of a boy than a girl, a perfect name for a perfect boy. Quote
shadowesk Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 so is Ariel pronounced the same as the little mermaid or is it being pronounced -ARE-REE-ELLE- as opposed to AIR-REE-EL? Quote
josledes Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Ariel is a masculine name, also has feminine variants like Ariela, Ariella or Arielle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariel_(name) Quote
Ardilla Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Ariel? ? After all, for me it will always be a name for a girl. Even if it's a male variant. But ok, it's their choice Quote
frenchkiki Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 it's sad to see that for most of people references for names are Disney. Ariel is an Hebraic name for a boy. Also the name of an archangel. Ariel was a name for boys at first then it became one for girls : Arielle A lot boys are named Ariel in France. One more thing that Disney messed up! Quote
Sanni Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 To name a boy Ariel and expect people not to associate that with a Disney princess Reminds me of Halle Berry acting as if she had no idea why people would think of The Lion King when she named her daughter Nala. Quote

This. Except here on BZ you’re not supposed to think logically lol and make a big deal out of everything! I honestly don’t care what she names her children but if you call your son Ariel, a lot of people will automatically think “Huh? Disney!”. Quote
medicenevs Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Us: Oh, Ariel is also a name for a boy and explain why. Some others: Y'ALL OBLIGATING US NOT TO THINK ON THE LITTLE MERMAID! Like, literally no one is trying to make you think otherwise, we are just saying but y'all can think whatever you want, like... You're actually the ones making a big deal out of this. Quote
*Luna* Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Right that’s why all the “Ariel isn’t a girls name” people in here keep telling every person who thought of Disney that they’re wrong? So what if people associate it with Disney? I think most people would. I have never heard of a boy named Ariel until now. Quote

And, if you didn't heard about boys called Ariel, that's maybe a demographic thing but it there are plenty boys in the world called Ariel. I get why people think on the Little Mermaid thing and I don't discuss that, it's what I'm saying, you can think on that it's normal were not trying to make you not to think about the movie but what were trying to say is it works for both genders. 2 minutes ago, Sanni said: Nope, not buying that version Ok. Thank you. Doesn't change the fact that Disney is evil Quote

I see you being nice to me lasted 1 second Not that I expect much from anyone here anymore, but don’t think I forgot about all the other things you said to me. Don’t you have anything better to do than attack someone online because that seems to be the only thing you do on here. Actually contributing to BZ... Nope. You really are a sad bitter person. @medicenevs I never said that Ariel can’t be used for a boy as well. I honestly don’t care what someone names their child but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any reactions. I just don’t get why some people are so annoyed that some associate it with Disney. Quote
josledes Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Ariel and Anaca newborns, look for differences, for me they are very similar, maybe Ariel ends up looking more like her mother, although Anaca also looks like. Quote
Candylicious. Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 ^ They do look a like a lot indeed, Candice said it herself too in a reaction under her latest post. Quote
