BTW: I was watching some show and there was a countdown of the '25 Most Stylish Faces in Hollywood'. There were only four men on the list and lo-and-behold Daniel was one of them! Of course they spoke about his impossibly blue eyes, but they touched upon his jaw line and how damn charismatic he is. Rock on Daniel!

I recently bought Marie Claire and in it there was a list of the '101 Sexiest Things'. Daniel was #22. Apparently they find him the sexiest Bond yet. And I agree! I'm so glad that Daniel is getting so much positive feedback on his looks and acting skills.

Ah, Daniel Craig....

Well, I recently rented 'Infamous' with our wonderful Daniel Craig. (My man literally stoop up and left to go pick up dry cleaning. He's so sick of having to watch him. :ninja: ) And well, as always, Daniel's performance was amazing. It's the true story of author Truman Capote and the murders Richard ___ & Perry Smith (Daniel's character). After brutally (these scenes were very hard to watch) killing a family in a small town, Truman Capote decides to write a book about the atrocities. Little does Capote know that while Richard is, no pun intended, a dick... Perry is an intellectual, tortured, conflicted soul. Needless to say, by the end of the movie you fall in love with Perry and you actually forgive him for the horrible things he did... Daniel was amazing. He was able to make us sympathetic toward someone who really does not deserve it... and that's the whole point. Daniel's ability to pull this off surprised me. He was not James Bond from the Bond films and he wasn't XXXX in 'L4yer Cake'. He truly became Perry Smith.

They dyed his hair black and he was given black contacts. And to tell you the truth, even with jet black contacts, there was still this light shimmer of blue in his eyes; they are so damn bright those baby blues of his.

One of the most heart breaking scenes in this movie (there were many.. Poor poor, Perry Smith.) Was Daniel delivering this line locked up in his little jail cell:

"All I ever wanted was to make a great work of art. I sang... no one listened. I painted... no one looked..."

It just makes you want to hug him. Which leads me to one of my favorite moments of the movie: Daniel Craig actually sings really nice. As Perry Smith, Daniel sings the song 'Goldmine in the Sky' with only an acoustic guitar as an accompaniment. He actually sounds very nice. Having to pick up an American accent to play this part, he did it very well and you'd never guess he was British.

Other than Daniel, the acting in this movie was SUPERB. At the very least, I enjoyed this movie and I’m quite the armature film critic, favorite actor in it or not.

Another movie review...

My fiancée is really, REALLY, very annoyed with me at this point. But I don't mind. He's such a sour-puss to begin with. <_<

I recently started watching a movie entitled 'The Jacket'. Confusing, poor character development... But there was one shinning beacon of hope (I'm just exaggerating playfully). I actually didn't know Daniel was in this film till his first scene. He was just a supporting character. A patient in an institution for the criminally insane, Daniel's character: Rudy has a 'nervous condition.' He was almost scary to watch. He was very twitchy and jumpy, paranoid and really very sick. My grandfather died having what was called a 'nervous condition' because no one knew what he had. Daniel played this character so well; I found it difficult to watch because his mannerisms and subtle nuances reminded me so much of my grandfather who passed away.

He had a lesser part, but none-the-less he was easily (after Adrien Brody) the best actor in the film. Really very convincing and frightening. Memorable.

Onto something happier:

Daniel was at the 'Pineapple Express' Premier!

AND another candid from the 'Flashbacks of a Fool' Premier:

You may not like his looks, but his eyes are TOO BLUE! Hell, they don't even look natural sometimes... But they are... They are... *stares dreamily into DC's eyes*
