Casillas Enjoying Open League

Iker Casillas believes that Real Madrid still have every chance of winning the league and is enjoying the fact that this season is so open at the top.

The Spanish international goalkeeper believes that Fabio Capello's side cannot give up hope of catching their arch enemy and wants to win all ten remaining matches of the season.

After an unconvincing performance against Celta Vigo produced another three points for el Real at the weekend, they are just five points behind Barça.

"We are still strong contenders for the title," Casillas told AS. "Barcelona are not giving up the fight, and neither will we.

"But we cannot allow ourselves to make any more mistakes. We must win every match we have left."

As the traditional pair of Barça and Madrid have been inconsistent this season, both Sevilla and Valencia have forced their way into the reckonining.

All four clubs have all had chances to move clear at the top, but failure to put together an extended run of wins has left the championship in the balance.

"I think this is a very tight and exciting League," Casillas continued.

"The difference with past editions of the championship is that instead of two, there are now several contenders for the title.

"The only team that slipped this weekend was Zaragoza, but they are still in the fight with Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia and us."

Casillas then reflected on FC Barcelona's close victory over Depor at the weekend and admitted that he turned the television off when the Catalan outfit were cruising.

"I watched the first half of the Barcelona and Deportivo match this weekend and as soon as Eto'o scored the second goal I thought Barcelona were going to destroy Depor," he said.

"I stopped watching the game for a while and turned the television back on to watch the final minutes.

"The score was 2-1 and Barcelona were going through hell. In fact, Deportivo came very close to scoring and equaliser."

Casillas analyses the 10 finals

"There are still many points to be won; we could be champions"

There are ten games left until the League ends and Real Madrid have good chances of winning the title. On Sunday they will face Osasuna at the Bernabéu at 7 pm CET. Iker Casillas analysed every game they have left for Marca.

"Anything can happen and we aspire to win the League," said Casillas to Marca, "We will play some key games against Valencia and Sevilla and our most difficult away game will be against Zaragoza at La Romareda Stadium. I'm a bit weary of Racing because they have good attackers like Munitis and Zigic... Espanyol have De la Peña, Tamudo and Luís García... There are still 30 points at stake and we must remain optimistic. We have to believe we are capable of winning the League."

Matchday 29: Osasuna

"They are a complicated team and they are very good at aerial play. That can be problematic for us. They drew against Sevilla last weekend, which proves they are a very competitive team."

Matchday 30: Racing Santander

"They will also be hard to defeat. They are playing very well in their stadium and we will suffer there. Munitis and Zigic form a very good attacking front. We must watch them closely."

Matchday 31: Valencia

"We will face one of our main contenders for the title. We may benefit from the exhaustion they may have for also playing in the Champions League."

Matchday 32: Athletic Bilbao

"It will be like a derby, a classic game in La Liga. It is always intense and different. It may be difficult for us to defeat them because they are currently fighting hard to avoid relegation."

Matchday 33: Sevilla

"This game will be similar to the game against Valencia because they are also one of our main opponents. We will play against them at home and we must be strong. They are playing very well, so let's hope they are tired by the time they get here."

Matchday 34: Espanyol

"They are capable of anything. They have very good players like De la Peña, Tamudo and Luís García. We must watch them closely. We can't fail at home."

Matchday 35: Recreativo Huelva

"I'm sure the game in Huelva won't be easy. Recreativo are having a great season and they may even qualify to play in next year's UEFA Cup. They will be very motivated against us, like everyone else."

Matchday 36: Deportivo La Coruña

"We will face a team with very young players that want to prove they are good enough to play in the First Division. They played very well at the Camp Nou the other day. We will have to be united and focused if we are to win."

Matchday 37: Zaragoza

"I think this will be the most complicated away game we'll have. Zaragoza are a good team and they will fight hard to play in next year's Champions League."

Matchday 38: Mallorca

"We will hopefully be able to sing the victory chant at home by defeating them. I hope they aren't in a tough spot when they come to Madrid."

When will these 2 MARRY!!!!!!!

She desperately wants to marry him, but he seems to be stalling....

How do you know that she desperately wants to marry him? She said that?

Sorry for waiting so long to reply

But since they started dating, whenever she was asked if marriage was on the cards she always said yes and that she hoped so. They broke up for a little while last year, then got back together. Then when they asked her about marriage she said 'we're still very young & 2007 is not the year of my wedding'

Now that was a total change of tune (don't you think??), and Iker has said he didn't want to get married till later on. I read an interview with him a few years I think her was 23 and they asked him when he wanted to get married he said maybe in 7 years from then.

Just know his taking his time, she's 27 years old and wants marriage but for her man she just has to wait.

Ok, I understand her. 7 years, I thought that 2 or 3 are enough to get some decision. He will wait untill he will have nothing to loose.
