buhlack7 Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 hahaah! i didn't even know ryan had a brother! hahaha! and i was WAAAY late when i found out marissa died! haha! i guess people from the south bay aren't very fond of the OC because they used our beaches, houses, pretty much everything... to film! Redondo Beach Pier, Palos Verdes, Haggerty's! COME on!!! they shouldn't have called it the OC... it should have been PV!but people from the OC are just waay more dramatic! Quote

I've seen pics of tannorexics I guess that is a darn good reason to avoid the clubs :| How did they come up with their name? It sounds like a vehicle of some sort... I just like Pin Me Down for Russell Lissack's guitar but you might like the boy-girl 2-person band thing and I don't know many people that listen to Nick Drake but I like him He's not very popular but people have described him as a musician's musician, well known in the music community I liked the OC they had good indie music on there too. I bet you were listening for the music Scrubs has some good music - I think a lot of it is picked by Zach Braff Quote

Michael* Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Come on everyone - Bra-ayve Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants... *Joins in, in the highest voice possible* Otherwise, if you like chipmunks then try math rock/ experimental band Battles. They're good if you're willing to listen to the album a couple of times. I thought that album was really good. There were a few tracks on it that I didn't like at first but if you don't judge it too harshly on the first listen, it really grows on you. Quote
buhlack7 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 hahaha! ok so they got their name off of this store/deli in silverlake called Silversun... because its on Silverlake and Sunset blvd...they added the pickups because they lived a few blocks away from silversun and would always get food/stuff from there... but are always too lazy... "alright... whos doing the silversun pickup?" is always the question!ehhh... not that great of a story but i dont know... i guess i think its great because i used to live a couple blocks away from the thing and would always pass by it! hahaha!and i think Nick Drake is great! i never thought in a million years i would ever listen to country-ish songs! but now im in LOVE with country-ish/folk songs! and OMG!!! i LOVE Garden State.(period) Quote
