missparker7 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 contents + "MINIMAL-DAZZLE" - U.S. VOGUE November 1984 by Andrea Blanch, Jim Varriale, Tohru Nakamura This is the full editorial. Not all pages do show Renée! Do you think these eyes in the first 2 pages of the layout are Renées? And can someone identify the models in the last 2 images of the layout? "Ihr Augen-Make-up" - german VOGUE February 1985 by Tohru Nakamura No opinions about the eyes??? Quote
missparker7 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Our lovely Renee sources added: Ian Miles http://www.ianmiles.com/celebs4.htm (unfortunately he has removed all the images of Reneé on his site ) + danish FLEYE glasses campaign 2004 Quote

missparker7 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 source added: by Stan Malinowski http://www.modelpix.com/retroframes.html "Renee Simonsen | Bazaar What can one say about Renee, except that she was memorable as a model. One can add that she was Danish, and being Danish, she really enjoyed Danish licorice (we got her a little basketful for her birthday from one of the Scandinavian shops in Chicago)." Unfortunately this image never made it into a Bazaar mag. - or we do still at least not know about it... Quote
missparker7 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I would like to thank missparker7 for all her contributions to this thread. I'm a huge Renée's fan and I had never seen so many beautiful things about her, apart from reneesimonsen.de. Thank you clo_fashion and WELCOME to Bellazon!!! Quote

Hello thx miss parker bouth pictures are soooooooooooo gr8 There are some more: "Renee at a rental studio | NYC | Bazaar | 1983 Model great: Renee Simonsen. I couldn't get the smile off my face...and that's a CIGAR!" "Renee Simonsen | Poster shot | 1982 Renee is likely my all time favorite model (if one must choose a Number One favorite). There were other wonderful models: Carol Alt, Christie Brinkley, Dayle Haddon...several more. A part of being a great model (too me) included being a nice person. All those I mentioned here are lovely human beings as well as being excellent models. Modeling is a strange business with a shield of arrogance to protect fragile egos. These girls remained warm, and kind throughout, sometimes, trying circumstances." And this one he sold himself in 2004 on ebay: Head shot of the "Face of the 80s" poster: http://www.modelpix.com/Banners/Banners.html I think the last one (2 models) is also Renée in the left. What do you think??? Quote
