Guess models, past and present

This is my first attempt at a megathread whose primary purpose is to link to models that have worked for Guess at some stage in their career, for campaigns and /or studio work. I'll endeavor to provide dates worked, and possibly a little more information on the model, and one or more images of their work for Guess. Models won't be posted in chronological order, but there will be a personal bias in terms of the first 20 or so I shall post. Others are free to contribute other models, or to correct or refine any information I have provided.

"GUESS was established in 1981 by the Marciano brothers [Georges, Maurice, Armand & Paul Marciano], who left the south of France in pursuit of the American dream. Claudia Schiffer (DOB August 25th, 1970, in Rheinberg, Germany)

"Schiffer's modeling career took off with her appearance in a Guess? campaign in 1989" [when she was 19; she became the face of Chanel in 1990]. The campaign, shot by renowned photographer Ellen von Unwerth, helped propel Schiffer into supermodel status". "Schiffer starred in six Guess campaigns from 1989 to 1991."

Claudia was also in Guess's 30th anniversary campaign in 2012. "The vintage-feel black-and-white photographs by Ellen von Unwerth depict Schiffer in and around an Italian seaside hotel."

Seyla Zanon (DOB 21st September, 1997, in Milan)

She wasn't that successful at pageant modeling (Miss Italy), but she was snapped up by Guess at a casting in Stabio (2022), and had been in 5 campaigns in the 2022 to January 2024 period (source: Guess Family interview on YT). She still does Guess campaign shoots, studio shoots and Guess events.

Charlotte McKinney (DOB August 6th, 1993, in Orlando Florida)

She was in at least 3 Guess campaigns between 2014 and 2019.

Nadine Mirada (DOB February 15th, 1989, in Linz, Austria)

She started modelling for Guess in 2018, and still works for Guess.

Lauren Alexander (DOB 19th June, 2003, in Glasgow)

She was recruited by Guess in 2023, and has been in at least 4 Guess campaigns (2024 ss Acessessories, Marciano 2024 Holiday, Activewear Spring 2024, and the Seductive Dream fragrance). She still models for the label.

And I remember the first time I saw the giant Guess models [ads] in the storefronts, and I was like, ‘Mom, I want to go in the store.’ And she took me in, and I saw all the girls around that had curves and that had boobs, and they were celebrated, and they were loved, and they were beautiful, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I hope I grow up and I’m a Guess model.”

Francesca Valenti (DOB: 2nd of February, 1999 in Legnano, Italy)

She started modelling for Guess in 2020, and is still with Guess. She has been in several Guess campaigns (including GUESS Spring 2021, GUESS Spring 2022, GUESS Spring 2023 Campaign,GUESS Accessories Fall 2023 Campaign, GUESS Accessories Fall 2024), frequently with Liza Makhu.

I attempted repair on these older images. [I intentionally grouped 3 controversial or problematic individuals together; with Francesca we return from metal & glam rock, to stately baroque music. 'These new Guess models are just insipid clothes hangers', some people tell me. I disagree; I consider them the equal of their predecessors]

Eva Herzigová (DOB 10th of March, 1973, in Litvínov, Czechoslovakia)

She was Miss Czech Republic 2023, and began modeling for Guess that year (and still is). She has been in at least 3 campaigns, Marciano Spring 2024, Marciano Summer 2024 and GUESS Summer 2024

Kim Smith (Kimberly Katherine Smith, born on March 3rd, 1983 in Odessa, Texas)

She was in Guess campaigns in 1999 and 2000. The 2 images below are Guess Demin Autumn Winter 1999, photographed by Pablo Alfaro

Oriola Marashi (DOB March 18th, 1996, in Tirana, Albania)

She began modeling for Guess in 2019 {runway show}, and is still doing so. She has been in at least 8 campaigns, Marciano Fall 2021 (her first), Marciano Summer 2022, Guess Active Wear 2022, Marciano Fall 2022, Marciano Spring 2023, Guess 2023 Holiday, and Guess 2024 Fall.
