Martine was born in May 1976 in Hackney,London (UK) as Martine Kimberley Sherri Ponting. She has starred in films (Love Actually) and on tv (Eastenders) and currently starring in new ITV soap Echo Beach. Martine also starred in My Fair Lady on the stage.

Martine's album You,Me and Us made no. 2 and she's had 4 top 10 hits as a singer too (including a number one single with Perfect Moment in 1999). Martine played Tiffany in Eastenders for four years and left to be a singer.
