Identical twins Bia and Branca Feres are models and synchronized swimmers from Brazil.

They have appeared on the cover of the Spanish-language magazine VIP and are competing as synchronized swimmers in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

Born: February 22, 1988

Birthplace: Rio de Janeiro

Nationality: Brazilian

Won the bronze medal in synchronized swimming at the 2007 Pan Am Games

Photo Sets

Though the Feres sisters do not appear nude in their current photo shoots, both the VIP and Papparazzo photographs show the twins in bikinis in bedrooms or on the beach. In some of Bia's and Branca's photos, the sisters are even shown touching each other or spraying each other with a hose. These shots have led some critics to label the Feres sisters as controversial.

On their MySpace profile, the Feres sisters admit that they are not only partners and sisters, but best friends as well. Born in Rio de Janeiro, the sisters studied in Seattle, Washington in 2004 and 2005 as exchange students at Roosevelt High School.

But there seems to be some confusion as to whether they competed or not. Some say they did, some say they didn't (most sites I can't understand anyway). I even saw a schedule for their events on one site, but I'm thinking they didn't compete, despite being on Brazil's national team and being the greatest thing to probably ever happen to synchronized swimming.

they were not included in the Beijing Olympics this year

they won bronze on the Pan American games last year thought

right now they are taking acting classes so they will only compete next year on Canada and Rome
