Who's the Greatest 90's SI model?

Tyra Banks - In 1997, Tyra famously became the first black model on the cover of SI. Also featured in the magazines 1993, 1996, and 1998 issues.

Daniela Pestova - In 1995, Daniela achieved the honor of landing the SI swimsuit issue cover as a "rookie". Also featured in 1998 and 1999, Daniela would go on to collect two more covers in the 00's.

Rebecca Romijn - After being featured in the 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1998 issues, Rebecca finally landed the SI cover in 1999.

Heidi Klum - Another 90's rookie who snagged the cover (1998), Heidi was featured in the 1998 and 1999 swimsuit issue and is well remembered for it.

Valeria Mazza - Although she never landed her own cover, Valeria did share one with Tyra Banks in 1996. She was also featured in the 1997 issue.

Stacey Williams - Although never a cover girl, Stacey was a staple at SI throughout the 90's. She was featured in every issue from 1992-1998.

Laetitia Casta -With a body like hers, Laetitia was destined for SI. She was featured in the 1997, 1998, and 1999 issues and would also make it into the 2000's

Amber Smith -Amber's name might not be automatically synonymous with the SI swimsuit issue, but she in fact appeared back-to-back in the magazine in 1993 and 1994.

Ingrid Seynhaeve -Ingrid began in the issue in 1993, and was a staple in the magazine until 1997.

Roshumba Williams -The beautiful Roshumba may have never landed a cover, but she was a SI swimsuit issue superstar, appearing right off the 90's bat in 1990, and again in 1991, 1992, and 1994.

Rachel Hunter -Having started at SI in 1989, Rachel was featured strongly in the magazine throughout the 90's. She appeared in the 1990, 1991, 1993, and 1994 issues. She eventually landed the cover in 1994, although she shared the spotlight with Kathy Ireland and Elle Macpherson.

Judit Masco - The 1990 cover girl! Judit was also featured in the 1991, 1992, 1994, and 1995 issues.

Vendela Kirsebom -Often known simply as 'Vendela', she started at the magazine in 1992, and was on the cover the following year for the 1993 issue. She was also featured in 1994, 1995 and 1997.

Ashley Richardson (Montana) -Ashley was the SI swimsuit issue cover girl for 1991. Having started at the issue in 1989, she was also feature in the magazine in 1990, 1992, 1993, and 1995.

Angie Everhart -The redheaded model was a 90's SI staple. She was featured in the 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995 and 1996 issues.

Eva Herzigova -The Marilyn of the 90's made her way into the magazine from 1997 to 1999.

Chandra North -First seen in SI in 1997, Chandra also featured in the 1998 and 1999 issues.

Niki Taylor -Niki Taylor had her stint in SI, featuring in the issue in 1997 and 1998.

Kathy Ireland -Although predominantly an SI girl of the 80's, SI's " most popular" model held her own in the magazine throughout the 90's. She was on the 1992 and 1994 covers, and was also featured in the magazine every year from 1990 to 1994, and also appeared again in the 1996 issue.

Elle Macpherson -Another 80's SI model who kept her place in the issue well into the 90's. With more SI covers than any other model, Elle was featured in the 1990 and 1991 issues and claimed her fourth cover in 1994.

Yamila Diaz didn't really start until like 1999 and then she boomed in the 00's, so she'll be on the 00's list. Same with Josie.

Thanks for the poll Stamo! I voted Daniela, Elle, Daniela. Frenchkiki, I particularly like that photo of Yamila, but I agree that she should feature among the SI models of the 2000's
