Adam Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is a stage actor and singer from Hollywood, California. He is now part of the Top 13 finalists for the eighth season of American Idol.

Lambert has been a stage actor since he was 10 years old, when he was cast as Linus in San Diego's Lyceum Theater's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. He also played a part in The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theatre.[2] More recently, he was the understudy for the part of Fiyero in the touring and Los Angeles casts of Wicked.

He auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in San Francisco, California. He received much screen time during Hollywood week, despite judge Kara DioGuardi criticizing him for being too theatrical.

He's gay, but I don't care...this guy is soooo hot...and he's an amazing singer. I love that he was in Wicked...that's one of my favourite musicals.

I love his little dance too. And his hair is peeeeeerfect!

Kerensa, thank u soooo much for starting Adam's thread!! i've watched AI for every season, and this year the talent is so amazing....Adam adds a uniqueness to the show, and that's the reason i am watching it....his rendition of "black and white" was amazing....and yeah, he def has perfect hair lol...it suits him!!

You're very welcome coop! I prefer him without make up though, lol. my fave pic of him is the 4th one in my first post, where he first auditioned.

MattLoveModels, i agree, he has an amazong range, i can't wait til he records an album...i'll be the first in line to buy it! you liked ring of fire? i thought the second half was better than the first, but i preferred when he sang Black or White. It's motown week next week i think, so I think it will be another challenge for him, being more of a rock singer. any ideas or suggestions for what he should sing? i'm really intrigued as to what song he'll pick.

also, i'm sure everyone has heard/seen the pics of Adam "embracing" another guy. i love how honest he has been on AI and not tried to hide anything. he is who he is and i love that about him. although, have any of you checked out his wikipedia page recently? some more info was recently added that said he is married to a guy named Mike Lowski and they ive together in California...i'm guessing Mike is the guy who was in the pics and who sits in his box in the studio during the shows. i know wikipedia isn't the most reliable source but hey.

Also, on Adam's AI page, he says his proudest moment was falling in love!

I disagree completely with this article. Just because he's gay female fans won't vote for him? I don't think that's strictly true. If anyone reads the comments on his youtube vids, they would see that female fans love him just as much as male fans.

does anyone know where i can download adam's AI performances. I really want "I can't get no satisfaction" and "black or white" on my iPod. I looked on the official AI website which says you can download them off iTunes, but only on the US store and i live in England any help?

OMG, he just performed on AI. I think they could pretty much stop the competition now b/c Adam is the definitely the next American Idol (Y)

He was amazing tonight. kerensa, you will be both shocked and love Adam even more when you see his performance this week
