Selena taught me Spanish through her beautiful music. She was the first Spanish artist I ever listened to and she is still my favorite spanish artist. I love her so much and I'm still sad to see that she's gone.
Me too, it was so long ago that she passed away, but she's had an impact on my life in a really big way. Being part hispanic, I didn't know spanish growing up and people picked on me about it and I always kept in mind that Selena didn't know it that well either and look at what legacy she left behind, you know? She's definately my favorite artist to this day and always will be

I'm so glad we are reviving this thread. Brightened my day. I listen to Selena every single day. My favorite songs are well... every one! But I love Como La Flor, Si Una Vez, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, Fotos Y Recuedos. La Llamada.

My favorite songs from her are Fotos y Recuedos (i was going to use it for my quinceanera, but i didn't end up having one), Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, Baila Esta Cumbia, Como La Flor, and Dreaming of You. I love all of her songs, when I was a kid, I would listen to them non-stop. All day, everyday, I would sing along and dance to all of her albums and never got bored!
I am the same way. Man I love her voice and the great thing about her is that she sounds exacly the same live. I love watching her concerts. I wish I was there. Have you ever been to her museum?
No I haven't but I'd love to go someday. I love her songs live, especially Como la Flor on her Selena Live album. I could listen to the beginning all day long!
