There was no indication in your post that it was your own website. How was a moderator supposed to know you were linking off of your own site? The BZ guidelines clearly advise members to notify the staff if you are linking to images you have posted on your own site:

Do not, under any circumstance, hotlink from another person's website. This includes, but is not limited to, victoriassecret.com. If you're not sure what hotlinking is, please visit this page for more information. "If you have any questions, or have a domain of your own that you would like to host things off of, please let us know so we do not edit out your images mistaking it as hotlinking."
