I don't know where to post this, so I'm posting it here. There's something wrong, here. Why don't we have a "thanks" button? That would be the fairest way of determining a member's status. I have only somewhere over 600 posts, but they are mostly all picture posts, which is a lot of work. In the meantime, there's other members who have seniority with thousands of posts, who don't post pictures at all, but just post things like "thanks", or "amazing"! I could do that crap all day..it's just not fair. Most every other forum has a thanks button, where you are thanked according to your contributions, instead of just your "thanks, that was amazing" posts. Come on, mods and administrators, what do you think?

We (maddog specifically) are working on some technological updates actually. I'll put a word in. In the mean time, I started a "thank you" thread in Milestones and Hospitality for thanking people for what they do. You can thank those who's contributions you appreciate the most there in the mean time
. That said, I remember two members that didn't post pics much (The Joker and irenistiq) and I wouldn't trade their one liners for all the scans in Vogue, but in light of the whole, the sentiment is understandable of course
.

I wouldn't be opposed to having a "thanks" button at BZ but at the same time, I'm not sure if I fully understand the point you're trying to make. Members with higher post counts don't enjoy any kind of advantages or seniority (at least that I know of) over others. With the exception of the mods and admin, we're all equal around here and in the grand scheme of things, titles like "pip king" and those little squares under our avatars are meaningless.

Fashionspot has I think some thing where you have a karma for a post, I'm not sure what that means. But I could see a thumbs up or something for a post. I'd be opposed to thumbs down though since it gets pretty monotonous when someone gives something they disagree with multiple thumbs downs on on some sites
(youtube for example).
