No. My answer is No.

My best friend, has a HOT little sister, she's very attractive and she's keen on me... But I just can't do it. I truely believe the friendship could be a lifelong one, and his sister is just not a safe enough bet.

If she could be the 1... then maybe... What do you think?

Why do you have to lose your best friend to have a relationship with his sister?

What Russell said to a point I guess.

Just don't be a total dick and you should be able to balance both worlds But if it came down to it..

that's hard

When I was young I would have gladly traded a good friend for his hot sister but now at almost 40, good friends are hard to come by and I would have to answer no.

Depends too if it was for a real relationship or just for some fun a few times or once.

If it was just for fun then no. If it was real feelings for a relationship ya i would.

I think the relationship itself isn't a problem. But what if it ends badly. Your friendship will very likely struggle to survive that.

I wouldn't do it unless I was really, really crazy about the girl and knew she felt the same way. And even then I'd feel uneasy about it.

Point is, my best friends have been in my life for much longer than any woman.

Then you don't end it in a bad way. What if she turns out to be the best thing that has ever happened to you or will for the rest of your life? You've just missed out on that.

My track record suggests that is not very likely.
