Bruno Pelletier

Pelletier was born in Charlesbourg, a suburb of Quebec, to Liette and Laurent Pelletier. He was interested in music from an early age and plays several instruments. He also has a younger sister Dominique and a son Thierry. Bruno has a black belt in karate, which he studied for 13 years. His passion is wine and to prove it, he's got a wine cellar. From all the variety of wine he prefers Merlot. Talking about pets, he's got a golden retriever Camillu. He's mostly prefers vegetarian food, among which cous-cous is his favorite. His life philosophy is to be honest, to have your own opinion and listen to what other people have to say. In 1983 Pelletier and some friends started English-speaking rock groups called Amanite and Sneak Preview. After that, wanting to perform in French, he started a group called Pëll. At 23 years old, he moved to Montreal, where he sang in bars. In 1989, he participated in the rock competition Envol, where he was awarded a special mention. In 1991, he had a role in the musical Vu d'en haut, presented at the Festival of the Montgolfières in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The following year, he joined the musical spectacle Les fous du rockn'roll, which he performed forty times.
