Fabrizio Moretti (nicknamed Fab) is the drummer of the american rock band The Strokes. He was born on the 2nd June, 1980 in Rio de Janeiro, to an Italian father and a Brazilian mother.Fabrizio has a brother and a sister.
At the age of three he moved to New York City and became interested in drumming. At age 5 he started playing the drums and practiced in a soundproofed closet. Fab wanted to be an art teacher when in high school, but soon realized he could be much more. At the age of 13, Moretti met lead singer Julian Casablancas and the other band members at the Dwight School in New York (Central Park West).
He is currently engaged to Drew Barrymore.
Fabrizio's trademark is Vintage Coca Cola Shirts.
Fabrizio listens to Guns and Roses. Slash was featured in The Strokes video "Someday"
