Game of Thrones
Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen's family, the Lannisters, may be hatching a plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.

im watching this also, LOVE IT, not sure which character is my faqve yet, still to early, buttttttttttttt im ready for the white haired chica, to kick her brothers ASS, and i have a feeling the new hubby will help her when the time comes, and the incest twins, good LORD
^Yes, I have a feeling that Daenerys (white blonde haired girl) will take down her evil brother with the help of her husband too. And her husband, is hottt! lol

well tonights episode, DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN very good, ready for sista girl to STEP up, and she sorta did, in a round about way, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BLONDIE, and the little girl learning to sword fight, GOOD for her, now im ready to see some white walker action
I like this show more and more every week. I can hardly wait for all the subplots to collide. And I agree about Kalisi, and now she is pregnat too. So cool. She seems like she is really starting to love her husband
I guess there's no hiding anymore I'm a todal Sci-Fi and fantasy book geek 
. There were just a couple changes they made so far (no detail here to avoid spoilers as I hate spoilers) that I didn't care for *read all the books several times and anxiously awaiting him to finish the series * , but overall they did way better than what I expected as its no easy task to undertake an epic fantasy book/series because everything is so bigger than life. So great job, keep up the good work

they certainly are pacing it good i think. it has taken me a bit to warm up to it, but i am liking it (despite what someone here thinks, lol).
i like the intrigue and the power plays that are inevitably coming. it's like a huge game of chess, which i love.
i head about this series lately and reading your post in this thread i think i will give a try and watch it i hope i will like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
