Music Video Discussion

I do think that we need a thread like this. There are so many music videos out there - good ones, bad ones.

Some actually underline the message of the song, some carry the feeling of it.

Just go ahead and start - any year, genre, singer/band. Doesn't matter as long as you feel the need of sharing it (out of praise or criticism and everything in-between...)

i just love house music anyone with me ?

I noticed with genres like trance, techno, dance, electronic, and etc, the song could be fabulous BUT the music video is usually horrific. Does the song no justice. In fact, it sometimes ruin the song

You know - I'm so tired of music videos that just lack creativity, often that's the case with house/techno...When I see those naked girls dancing around - man! That's so annoying, just do something different for once!

I think these are rather good examples:

most of the real(im saying real cuz i dont mean the commercial tv house) house music doesnt have videos,its just music,music for parties,yeyy!

my observation: mostly naked girls are used in videos in rap/r&b songs ..but i guess sex sells? lol

I am not sure what you meant by "commercial tv house", but I was referring to music videos of DJs such as ATB, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, and etc.

yes i get you,Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, etc are a dj's which we see on tv everyday-thats why i call it commercial house.i was talking about the other dj's , those who play different subgenres of the house music - like deep ,lounge,ambient,jazz,etc, which are not broadcasted on tv....or at least not in my country. there is difference between house&house!i see it that way cuz i listen house mostly

You know I'm mostly a fan of Rock music but I do love other genres too - if the song has something that interests me I don't care about genres anymore.

That said - I really don't know much about the different types of House music. I guess I only know the mainstream side of it...
