Surely it wouldn't have been photographed purely for a Chinese market. I have dozens of vintage Elle & Marie Claire vintage mags from Japan but the covers often featured identically on Marie Claire and Elle France.

With only access to Calypso Angel's photo of the original magazine - which itself is just a photograph, I decided to work on improving that..
