I tried to be as objective as I could. These actresses seem to be getting the most recognition for their looks.

I dunno about this idea.
it's easy enough to make a subjective list, and say 'this is my opinion, take it or leave it.' or, you could take an objective list and back it up with some kind of data... whose doing the most box office, whose highest on IMDB's star power list, whose threads are getting the most posts...
but to make a list about other people's subjectivity is just too hard. not to mention that you're going to leave off a hell of a lot of people... Halle and Biel immediately come to mind for me, I'm sure there are a ton more.
You're probably right, but still I think that in terms of overall praise, Alba and Jolie leave everybody else far behind.
eventhough i don't like some of them, i must say that i quite agree with that list (Y) however, i'd put them all in a different order 
How Natalie views her own intellectual capabilities remind me a lot of those voiced by my classmates. I don't mean that as a compliment.

Just my observation, based on stuff like People magazine and all the late night talk shows.
I'd take away Mendes, Portman, Theron and add Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Eliza Dushku.
