How to remove the music from video

I created my own video and faced with this problem...Could you please explain me how and with what progr. I may replace the music I have now with the music I want

With Windows Movie Maker you should be able to do it . It's pretty simple, you have the bar thing that's for your video and right under it is the sound bar you just delete and put it the one you want . If you don't get it u can try explaining it better .

Windows Movie Maker? That's good..I have it... I spent much time today installing and then uninstalling different progr. trying to find the one which would do it...but nothing worked

To be honest I didn't understand how to do it...my WMM is in Russian and you explain in English..it's hard to correlate English names of commands with the ones in Russian...could you plase explain it better...maybe using screen caps....
