There's a drum intro...
Actually, I'm confused in general. It seems like only a few of the songs you guys have mentioned have solo intros, i.e. just the guitarist playing.
"Achilles Last Stand" - Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page)
"Lateralus" - Tool (Adama Jones)
"Stream Of Consciousness" - Dream Theater (John Petrucci)
"Welcome Home (Sanitarium) - Metallica (Kirk Hammett & James Hetfield)
This is hard... it seems like there aren't that many...

yeah you right about Aerosmith - Walk This Way has a drum intro
I wasn't 100% sure about it, but the drum intro is not bad

"Roundabout" (Yes)

Yeah, the whole song has an awesome groove.
How about...
"Sweating Bullets" by Megadeth

Still, the guitar riff is awesome and, I think, more representative of the song than the drum beat.

It said guitar intro, not guitar solo's. A guitar intro doesn't require the guitarist to be the only one playing, just the guitar being on the forefront, imho.
"Women In Love" - Van Halen
"Wasted Years" - Iron Maiden
I can play it too. Well, sort of... ![]()
Carry the Cross - Arch Enemy
Seed Awakening - Nevermore
Home - Dream Theater

Iron Maiden- The Trooper
love this song..mostly because of the beat!!
Easy.
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit.
