International models to endorse Lakme show

NEW DELHI: Four international models will sashay down the ramp with their Indian counterparts at the Lakme India Fashion Week. According to a release, the Fashion Design Council of India, (FDCI), the apex body of Indian designers, has conf irmed participation of the International models, Lisa Butcher, Natascha Mucafir, Jodie Kidd and Caroline Fowler.

Lisa Butcher, winner of the Elles Angel competition at 13 years, has graced the cover of English Elle and British Vogue. Natascha Mucafir, a L'Oreal model, has featured in French Elle, British Marie Claire and British Vogue. Caroline Fowler has walked th e ramp for fashion designers, Giorgio Armani, Elizabeth Emanuel and Hussein Chalayan.

The event will be held in New Delhi from August 17-23 at the Taj Palace Convention Centre. The event is being held in association with Sunsilk, Kingfisher, Fiat, wahindia.com, and the Taj Group of Hotels. - Our Bureau
