reverse image search only helps if the agency uses this photograph in his portfolio OR a photographer puts in their blog or website.When I first started on this forum, there was no such thing as google reverse image, portfoliopad, agency blogs, twitter, or any type of self promotion on the internet. You had to search agencies which took forever.
what makes this so hard is the fact this image is all over the place. tumblr, we heart it, etc make it super hard to figure out where this picture actually came from. the fact the huffington post is using this image which means this is the proper source of this picture. If it were a syndicated image from a photographer, i am sure the site would have adjusted it because they have pay royalties for using it. http://fakenerdguys.tumblr.com/

maybe the original poster know where they found it. it's probably a syndicated image OR from a photographer. It looks like a test shot.
that's all I could find out. hopefully it will lead someone else to his name.
