While she was in the middle of her A-Levels Tess was snapped up to be a model and ended up appearing in magazines and a couple of pop videos ? namely the fantastic 'Sweet Harmony' by The Beloved. YouTube it, people! You'll also spot her in not one but TWO videos for Duran Duran. But do you know which?
Her TV presenting kicked off when she was the host of Find Me A Model, a slot on The Big Breakfast. One of her major jobs was as a presenter of SMTV alongside Brian Dowling after Ant and Dec decided enough was enough.
She also presented shows like Back To Reality (Five's poor attempt at the reality format), Make Me A Supermodel and The National Lottery: This Time Tomorrow.
Tess could have carried along having little bitty presenting jobs but no, she wasn't going to settle for that. She grabbed the co-host role for Strictly Come Dancing in 2004 and hasn't looked back since. Alongside Bruce Forsyth they regularly grab 10millions viewers a show and Tess is now a fully fledged glamorous TV presenter.
Tess is married to DJ and ex-T4 presenter Vernon Kay. They tied the knot in September 2003 in Vernon's home town of Bolton and have one daughter.
