Things may get even spookier over at the CW, as the network eyes a reboot of 1980s horror anthology series “Tales From The Darkside”, Variety reported Tuesday night,
The good news is that the project from CBS TV Studio currently has a script deal at the net, with Joe Hill — Stephen King’s son — attached as scribe!
“Sleepy Hollow’s” Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will exec produce alongside Mitch Galin, Heather Kadin and Jerry Golod.
The CW is considering the “Darkside” reinvention for a summer 2014 run as a halfhour series.
“Tales From The Darkside” was created by George A. Romero. The pilot for the skein aired in 1983, with the syndie series running from ’84-’88.

I used to adore this show! Oh I love your country and the TV series that comes with it!

Oh wow this use to be my show along with Tales from the Crypt, I still watch it every now and then on Chiller tv so glad to see it making a comback. ![]()
