Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor^[1] (born 7 November 1996), known by her stage name Lorde (/ˈlɔrd/),^[2] is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. Her first EP, The Love Club, was released in November 2012, and her first single, "Royals", debuted at number one on the New Zealand Top 40, and also reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013, making her the first New Zealand solo artist to have a number one song in the United States. Her debut album, Pure Heroine, was released in September 2013. She jointly won the 2013 Silver Scroll award for "Royals".

She is so fabulous and actually talented, I love her CD to no ends.

And I love that she is so honest too, it's awesome to see someone who gives two shits about what others will think of her (Y)

She's 17?! I thought she's around 30
Anyway, I kind of liked Pure Heroine - it's nice, relaxing and enjoyable, hope next album will be even better.

I tryed looking for Pure Heroine but I can't find it anywhere, I might have to order it online. I haven't heard much of the other songs on the albulm, but so far its the sound I like so I'm going for it

She doesn't look that much older without the makeup though, but her music and voice are def not what you expect from the average teenager.

As for Pure Heroine, get it, the album is amazing, the best songs are Tennis Court, Ribs, Team and of course, Royals but the whole thing is just perfect, It's IMO the best CD from 2013 along with Timberlake's

I really have high hopes for her, I'm curious as to how her next albulm matchs up (anybody know if shes working on a new albulm?)
