Union J are an English four-piece boy band consisting of members George Shelley, Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett and Jaymi Hensley. The group were formed through the ninth series of British television music competition, The X Factor in 2012, in which they finished fourth. They subsequently signed a record deal with Sony Music subsidiary RCA Records and have released their debut studio album Union J.
