So this should be fun, right? Post your favourite fictional bands and/or artists from the big and small screen.

Obviously, no list like this would be complete without Spinal Tap.

Terrifically entertaining tune from 'Inside Llewyn Davis'. By far the best Justin Timberlake has ever sounded.

And finally, my personal favourite - Sex Bob-Omb from 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World'. They're here to make you think about death and get sad and stuff.

That scene is epic!

Of course Steel Dragon has to be here

Some great picks.

Here's one I almost forgot about. The Be Sharps, Homer Simpson's barbershop quartet.

I'd love to post a clip of Dr. Fünke's 100% Natural Good-Time Family Band Solution (Arrested Development) but I can't find any <_<

The Soggy Bottom Boys (O Brother, Where Art Thou?)

Dammit Michael, when I saw this thread title my first thoughts were the Be Sharps, Sex Bob-omb, and Spinal Tap, in that order. How dare you steal my fictional musical artist thunder!

The Beets (Doug)

Limozeen (Homestar Runner)

Not for the musical quality, but I feel it should be mentioned, lol... Dirk Diggler's failed musical attempt (Boogie Nights)

I love the "goth kids" song on South Park. Probably no coincidence that Trey Parker is a big fan of The Cure

Citizen Dick.  From "Singles"

Interesting: the riff at the beginning of that 2nd clip is the same one from Soundgarden's "Spoonman".  2 years before the song came out.
