It's hard to choose a favorite character!

I'm not really feeling Jennifer Love Hewitt's character in the new season.

I did get a chance to meet Matthew after a screening I attended and he is really cool. He stayed and hung out for about an hour.

My favorite character is definitely Reed.

I'm not feeling Jennifer Love Hewitt's character either. And you're so lucky you got the chance to meet Matthew! He really seems such a nice guy.

Not feeling Jennifer either.

A role that is not "about her" and her boobs & her long hair and her wearing lingerie and sexy cleavage, is not a role for her and her ego.

Tend to agree that the show has taken a turn for the formulaic and is somewhat past its prime, but it's still watchable and capable of delivering the odd cracker. After ten seasons, that's a pretty difficult thing to pull off.

I must say, although I hadn't really envisaged Jennifer being a particularly good fit for the show, I think the main problem is the dullness of her character. Kate isn’t so much a person as a mix-up of random backstories, all of which are such well-trodden ground in the genre that she comes off as uninteresting. The constant chopping and changing of female cast members doesn’t help.
