Studio Ghibli, Inc. is a Japanese animation film studio based in Koganei, Tokyo, Japan. The studio is best known for its anime feature films, and has also produced several short films, television commercials, and one television film.

I was something of a latecomer to Studio Ghibli (although I had seen things like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle), but recently made a concerted effort to start working my way through their catalogue and would recommend watching all of it. As loathe I am to make the obvious Disney comparison, they are similar in the sense that they're mostly high quality, enjoyable films that if you enjoy one or two, you'll likely enjoy most of their output.

Anyway, are there other fans out there? Any particular favourite films?
