A small town family is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout, an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

Looks interesting, but seemingly has little to nothing to do with King's novella.  Given that we've already gotten a very good adaptation of The Mist from Frank Darabont a few years ago, I'm not entirely sure that this is necessary, although I'm sure I'll check it out at some point.

^^ I hope it's not going to be a bit shit like The dome after season 1.

Each time they change the original story from a SK book (novella) it's always a disaster.

The movie was enough I think.
