When it comes to albums that are generally regarded as classics, I always just sort of assume that they'll somehow find me eventually, perhaps via an online article, a review, maybe a chance discovery. Sometimes it's a case of wondering what all the fuss is about, but every so often something will come along that blows me away.

So, how about it? What classic albums have you only got round to hearing recently?

There's this song that I discovered quite recently. It's what you could call a "classic" in France, sung by Charles Aznavour (who's very a famous singer in France). This song is actually based on a traditional Russian gypsy music.

I really like it (I guess it's better for people who understand the lyrics, but the music itself is also really nice)

It's called "two guitars" (it's also the name of the Russian music on which it's based)

And what about you @Michael*   ?  Did you recently came across a classic album that you didn't know of before?
