"Spaghetti Western" aka "western all'italiana" (that's how it's called in Italy) is a subgenre of Western films that emerged in the 1960s and that defines Western movie produced and/or directed by Italians. Experience showed that, in this domain, Italians know their stuff! Sergio Leone was one of its main inspirator.
Most of the famous ones have been directed by Sergio Leone, Sergio Corbucci or Sergio Sollima. The best ones have nearly always been scored by Ennio Morricone. Among the most famous ones, there are:
- A Fistful of Dollars
- For a Few Dollars More
- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
- Once Upon a Time in the West
- Giù la testa
- My name is Nobody
- The great Silence
What are your favorite movies? OSTs?

Music by Ennio Morricone!
Of course, there's this one
And this scene! ![]()
And this one...! "You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend"
It's funny because "the good, the bad and the ugly" was filmed in two languages. The main cast spoke English, the other actors Italian. So, the movie was dubbed for the two languages. And the dubbing was not so good
Really not good.
Here is one of the best scenes, with an example of bad dub...![]()

I liked 3:10 to Yuma (the re-make)
The game "Red Dead Redemption" is excellent. A new one is coming out BTW!

Yeah, it's a pretty good movie (not a spaghetti western, but still a good western)
