Soul is an upcoming 2020 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is directed by Pete Docter and co-directed by Kemp Powers, from a screenplay by Docter, Powers, Mike Jones and Tina Fey. The film stars the voices of Jamie Foxx, Fey, Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, Daveed Diggs, and Angela Bassett.

Soul is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on November 20, 2020.

There seems to be a bit of a pattern emerging with Pixar nowadays where, whenever they release two different films in the same year, one massively outperforms the other, both at the box office and in terms of critical reception.

This would appear to be getting a much bigger promotional push than Onward, and looks considerably better.

Seems like a story the world needs now. Looks and sounds emotive.
