Official trailer.

I whipped through the first four episodes in fairly quick order, but hit a wall with the fifth one and my interest waned a little bit.
Thankfully though, it comes back storming towards the end. As a series, it just hits in so many areas and without leaning too hard into cliche.

World chess champion Magnus Carlsen talks about Queen's gambit in 3 videos, very interesting for whoever plays chess not too bad.

From certain angles the main actress looks like Nimue Smit, one of my favorite models a few years ago. She was a top model for some time.

Anya is understandably getting a lot of attention for the show, as she should.
It was mainly only the one episode, but Isla was very good as well.

Provided film releases are still a thing by 2023, Anya Taylor-Joy as a young Furiosa in the forthcoming Mad Max prequel is something I'll be very curiosa (sorry) to see.
