What do you think when you hear that a woman proposes to her boyfriend? Is it okay or should the man only do the proposing?

I hate it when women propse to men. That's the man's job, damn it! (of course, this is only my opinion). Britney Spears proposed to Kevin... look where it got her! No, I'm kidding. I just don't like that. I'm an old-fashioned kind of girl. I 'd want a man to propose to me.

i'm pretty much against women proposing to men...there's this thing they have called 'fear of commitment' and i'm not saying every guy is afraid to commit, but seriously, how many of us girls have been fantasizing about getting married since we were little? i know i have...guys are slow...give them time to decide...let them propose...

Of course there isn't a wrong thing about the girl proposing but it is far less romantic for the girl because every girl dreams of that big romantic kitsch proposal, don't they? And I mean a guy probably doesn't care that much about the romance... but if the girl does it she doesn't get her dream proposal.

well, I suppose it's okay. But I couldn't picture myself doing it. Then again I don't plan to marry. I've lost hope of finding "my other half" But who knows. Maybe i'll find someone that will make me change my mind. But back on topic. It's a strange picture. But if someone wants to do it then go for it.

I think its cool if a girl proposes but I would prefer the guy to do it. Plus I think that alot of the times when a guy proposes it means hes ready for that commitment whereas if the girl proposes marriage and he says yes it might be because he couldn't say no maybe because he didn't want to hurt her feelings and then the couple take that next step only for things to go wrong because one or both aren't ready to take it to the next level.
