BIOGRAPHY

 

Marcus Ohlsson discovered his love of and aptitude for photography early in life, taking photos of his friends skating and hanging out. Gradually, he began exploring other subject matters, and quickly found a way to transform his many different sources of inspiration – art, design and fashion – into photography.

 

Marcus Ohlsson’s preference for natural light and using locations shows readily in his work, as well as his ability to capture authentic moments. He enjoys giving the models freedom to experiment and to explore their own personal expressions…so his images are also characterized by a particular energy and strong sense of presence. Marcus Ohlsson has been published internationally in magazines such as Vogue Japan, Vogue China, V Magazine, V Man, Beauty Papers, Vogue Mexico, Allure and GQ. His commercial clients include Fenty Beauty, Estée Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Byredo, H&M, Nars, Hugo Boss, Clinique, Kanebo, Uniqlo and Nike.
