mindless_oasis Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 My hair is short..used to be long but it didn't look good I'm a brunette It's natural Sometimes i use wax and hair spray It's fine It's straight but has a few flicks It gets cut like once a year lol I prefer Brunettes (for guys and girls) and that's not a bias opinion Quote
OriginalSin Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 my hair goes just past my shoulders. i have light brown hair with naturally blonde highlights. it's thick, curly, and unfortunately frizzy. it looks best blow-dried straight or curly and wet. Quote
Chicken Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I lhave ong, straight hair. Well last week my hair was a midnight blue, this week its deep purple. Quote
BlueEyedBaby Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I have long brown hair. I cut like 4 inches off of it Tuesday, and no one noticed...They said it looked the same, but I guess that is what happens when you have long hair. Oh mine is natural wavy so it depends on how I dry it if it's straight or curly. But at the moment it's straight, because I used my chi on it last night. Quote
moiselles Posted June 25, 2005 Author Posted June 25, 2005 I've been braiding my hair and putting it in a bun a lot lately. It looks pretty when I take it out of the braid, though. Quote
Britt87 Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Hey-I'm kinda new here but I was hoping perhaps you girls could help me out with something. I'm currently booking an appt. to get my hair done for my Bro's wedding in early August. I'm in the bridal party and my sis-in-law pretty much gave me no restrictions on the hair thing so I was wondering if you guys had any ideas/pics, etc? Thanks for any help:-) Quote
natalie Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 hey girls i have a question. can the natural hair dye damage your hair? i recently dyed my hair from like dark brown to darker brown. and i love this color but i dont want to damage my hair, go bald later, etc. (i heard rumors about the bald thing) Quote

I know it dries it out but hair is pretty resilent. I hope it's not really bad cuz I've dyed my hair like-a ton. My aunt tho has been every color on the planet and she's in her 60s and has a full, thick head of hair so... Quote
Sheyda Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Natalie - It's not true. If it was, all the models in the world would be bald because they have so much done to their hair. Quote
moiselles Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 I think dying it can dry out your hair, but I don't know about damage. I, personally, would never dye my hair ( until I go gray, of course ) because I like my natural color and getting it professionally dyed is too expensive.I have heard, however, that perms can really hurt your hair. Or at least the at-home perms do. Quote
QueenS Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 My Hair is quite long.. Ive always had long hair. I did cut it though once , up to my shoulders. It looked ok but i prefer it long.. Quote
moiselles Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 It's hard to tell just how long it is because the picture is dark and so is your hair, but it is very pretty. I just got about a half an inch trimmed off my hair ( first time to get it trimmed/cut since January of 2004 ). It looks better and is still really long. Quote

Neo52285 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 ok so i am a guy and making a topic here...but i want to know how you girls deal with tangles....its killing me. Quote
Sunset Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Hey Neo, I've used No More Tangles Spray by Johnson's and it's worked pretty well on my long, thick, wavy, black hair. It's a good idea to wash you're hair after you use it though, because it can make your hair brittle if left on. Aside from that you just have to grit your teeth and pull lol Hope this helps a bit Quote
Neo52285 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 you practically labeled my hair...long, thick and wavy and black....stupid tangles. my cousin wanted to straighten it for me. Quote
