^SOO agree. I think RR is leos must underrated performance ever. Better than blood diamond, better than the Aviator or Grape. I think RR was one of his best, if not the best, performance of his career!

I agree with that. Now we have to wait and see Gatsby, Django and Wolf.

Exactly.!!!!!.. I'm not saying that should have won ... I say that at least deserved a nomination.

I second what you say it wasn't his best but C'mon snubbed again??? Leave out someone who ALWAYS acts great to include two that FINALLY act well?

Edit: and what they did with RR ... those of the Academy should be ashamed! In what world could be said that Brad Pitt in Benjamin Button was better than Leo in Revolutionary Road?

Agree again.

oh neon, this would be great:

still holding onto my impossible, year old pipe dream that leo will sweep best actor for gatsby and best supporting for django

for me his acting en J Edgar was Great, maybe for some people was Bad, because of the movie, but I most be Honest I like the Movie too, it wasn't a bad movie at all, well I enjoy this type of movie you always can keep something at the end.

The movie for me wasn't as interesting as it could have been. In fact I considered it a bit boring. But that was Eastwood fault.

Honestly I thought J.Edgar was better than I could imagine, after read such bad reviews saying the movie was horrible which it's not the case, I agree that some parts were boring but I liked the movie most of the time. Off course is not that entairtaining like Inception but it's a biopic of a person that wasn't the most pleasant at all and he was not very known to the public also. The parts I liked the most were the ones were he was in his private life (even that scenes were fictional) but it was interesting to see how weak he was close to his mother compared with his professional life where he was totally in the power. For me the most powerful scene is that one where after his mother died and than he wears her dress and says: stay strong Edgar and than he falls in the ground and starts to cry, oh, that was heartbreaking and Leo was amazing on that scene, I cried a lot. :cry2:

I'm sure Leo would have received a nomination to the golden globes and if I dream a little for the Oscar for Shutter Island, if Warner had not moved the film,it's my memories are good.
