I so crazy for Ian and Damon

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley have claimed that their characters Damon and Stefan will switch personalities in the next season of The Vampire Diaries.

Speaking to E! Online, the pair explained that while Damon may show a softer side, Stefan could become darker.

"[stefan] is always going to be protective of Elena, but there are times that he is going to be tempted by blood," Wesley said. "He's a vampire and he has malice inside him. I think it would be a mistake to ignore that."

He continued: "I think depending on the situation and the circumstance that [a personality switch] can happen. Damon will be nicer and Stefan more violent and then they will switch again... If Stefan loses Elena, even for a moment, he loves her and I think he could do anything."

Meanwhile, Somerhalder revealed that he is looking forward to exploring a relationship between Damon and Katherine (Nina Dobrev).

"She's probably going to kick my ass," he joked. "Katherine is an evil bitch. She's a narcissistic, crazy bitch... [but] let's face it: Nina Dobrev in her underwear. Who could complain about that?"
