Gisele and Adriana were both at some point important to VS, but Gisele's reign lasted longer than Adriana's. Adri has been on a huge downward slump ever since the 2003 VSFS.

What was wrong with her at the 2005 show? Actually I think she looked great this show too except her body looked very untoned.

Even though she's looking "bad" like everyone's saying. Adriana was still among the top 5 best looking girls at VSFS 2006.

Umm... good question. Actually no but right now its too early !! And my previous post has nothing to do with that !!! It was more like a correction of an "ugly butter face" !!!

The show will probably do really bad next year.

Over the last year or so they're been really pushing the Very Sexy Makeup, which Adriana can't promote because of her maybelline contract, so I think that's why we've not seen as much of her. Pretty much everything else they've been promoting (Dream Angels Heavenly, Angel Bras, First Kiss comercial etc) she's had a small part in. Alessandra has been doing Sexy Little Things, Angel bras and Very Sexy Makeup so she's pretty much invloved in everything!

VS really need to step up the show if Gisele isn't going to be there - they still have a lot of 'supermodel' power in there, but none are as high profile figures as Gisele no matter how beautiful they are! They need to get girls like Stam and Doutzen more on board.

I disagree^^^. I mean why put Stam in the show when she's the opposite of VS material. She's very boyish looking and her face isn't very womanly either. No regular guy is gonna find her attractive, she's more for guys that like high fashion and stuff. Plus her body is so horrible for VS, she has no boobs, her legs aren't very femininely sahped like Gisele's or Doutzen's and even her walk isn't good enough for VS. She ruined the show for me because it showed me that VS is promoting waifs. Gisele was the last model with some public influence. Next to no one outside of the fashion industry knows who Doutzen or Stam are so having them as star power doesn't really count. Having Doutzen because her body and face would appeal to the male population does count. Add in her, Bar, and Fernanda T. and take out Hana, Stam, Flavia, Caroline Winberg. I think Lily Cole would be a good addition too. I know many may disagree with me but she has a womanly body. Very womanly. And VS has used "weird" models in the past. And those shows were very high rated. Also Marisa Miller would be a great add. And maybe Petra but that probably won't happen.

I think Gisele made VS...for the new generation. VS is just not VS without her. And she's not a butter face I think she's gorgeous. Better looking than Adriana but she's still pretty.

I'm one of the people that thinks she looks horrible now. That hair color is disgusting on her, and I KNOW she put on wieght. It's kind of obvious, and because of that her figure pretty much left. When she started out she had a nice small waist that led to the nice curve of her hips, but lately in VS mags and candids alike her body just looks.....thick. By normal standars she's perfectly fine, but after seeing her so stunning before, she looks terrible to me now.

I think she needs to lose weight. She is "thick" by no means. Her body is just proportioned so that she looks better thinner. Also I still think her face is very pretty.

Uh Gisele is still lasting. She was a lot more succesful in high fashion than Tyra.
