Just finished Breaking Dawn. And you can tell that she was rushed to finish it. I predicted everything.

Not that it wasn't good.....just wasn't great either. I expected so much more for the final book. *sigh*

i've read all three and am finishing up breaking dawn... all within span of a week.

thats not fast right? i just means everyone i've talk to just reads slow... right?

i'm not the biggest fan of the book.. nor a fan either... i was just curious seeing Twilight all over BZ... and camilla talking about it for a bit!

so i read it!

i have to say.. although its very entertaining and sure as hell passes the time... it's not of Literary Merit! its very predictable! but then again... it IS meant for teenagers! but then again so is Harry Potter (even younger) but there is much depth!

stephanie could have been more subtle about her literary references... which would have made her book... and writing... stronger and appealing! she shouldn't have flat out said this is paris... this is r&j.... this is cathy and heathcliff!

it sure would have encouraged a whole lot of 'dull' teenagers to look into literature much more! like wuthering heights... r&j... mid summer... the tempest... maybe even brave new world if they stretch it!

as for breaking dawn... i can't say im disappointed... because i didn't expect much! i was rather annoyed the first few chapters... especially toward the end bit of isle esme! i was seriously like... WTF!?? haahaha!

as for bella.... hmmmmmm..... bella! she can really get annoying! very selfish! meyer definitely tried too hard to liken her to Cathy Linton! PS... i also dislike the fact that Kirsten Stewart was cast as bella! Kirsten is a lovely girl with boyish attitude! Not at all clumsy! But is guess she does fit the LATTER part (not to give too much away!)

finally.... WHAT THE HECK IS WITH THE NAMES that bella picks out!!!!!!! I swear stephanie has a filipino assistant or something that weighs in with the naming picks!

I just finished reading Breaking Dawn. I wasn't expecting much of it in the first place and still ended up disappointed. It is by far my least favorite book in the series...

I lost a lot of love for Twilight when more people became interested, and I absolutely detested the ending of Breaking Dawn. Not enough action. :yuckky:

Did you guys hear about the leak of her new book? It was pretty bad, she has now put the book on hold. Poor Stephanie

I'm sorry Liz but it was rushed and unfinished.

The baby was a fabulous idea....but she should have made it more difficult to keep her. It ended very easily and very badly. Very disappointing.

I did adore Twilight and New Moon but it went down hill from there.

Well, I didn 't like the whole "love triangle" idea with Jacob, Edward and Bella too, but the idea of newborns was pretty cool.

I don 't know guys, I liked Breaking Dawn so much!!! Everything ended good and every one was happy (except Tanya 's family of course)

But that's just it Liz, it should NOT have ended so happily. Stephanie built us up thinking something bad was going to happen, something exciting and then:

...

......

NOTHING!!!

it ended on nothing!

Happily ever afters do not belong in vampire stories lol

Ok, I really don 't understand you. I felt relief when finally the Volturi left although I really wanted them to fight it would be exciting. And I liked that everyone was ALIVE and Happy!!! Why should they die? I wouldn 't like if any Cullen had died

They didn't really fight. They didn't really do anything. It was boring. Like the whole book lol

Wow, I think that the most boring book of four books was New Moon not Breaking Dawn. Boring the whole book? I disagree. It was so interesting! So many things happened!
