If I had to name one favourite character I'd say Dr. Carter but I really love them all!

Abby owns my heart for she is and independent strong woman!

Dr Kovac is teh sex!

Neela is amazingly cute and clever! I love her!

I even loved Romano!!!

They are all amazing...

The most emotional episode was the one in which Lucy died! I liked her a lot!

Oh my, his death was soooo sad! Poor Dr Greene!

I remember seeing his final episode on second viewing a few years after it first aired, having forgotten just how sad it all was. Somewhere Over the Rainbow will never be the same again!

And it's so sad that the only thing left of him is the letter...

I felt really sorry for Elisabeth, too.

Good call on Lucy's death, that was a sad one.

I've hardly seen the show in the last few years. Except the one where Romano died and nobody paid much mind. Figures.

There was a lack of funny scenes after Romano's death but it's better now. Dubenco replaces him surprisingly good.

Didn't Thandie Newton come in as Carter's wife for a bit? What the hell was that all about?

As far as I remeber they met while working for WHO in a country far away from the U.S.A..

They fell in love, she became pregnant but they lost the child.

Their relationship was over after that (or very loose) but he wanted her back. And then there was a cute happy end in Paris. That was Thandie's part.

Oh yeah, they lost a baby. I remember that one, that was pretty darn sad. Thandie Newton kind of sucks, though.

First I liked her a lot but she was driving me nuts when she showed Carter the cold shoulder. As if she was the only one who lost her baby... <_<

Going back a bit, didn't Carter have a drug addict cousin who ended up going mentaly ill? Or something. Am I making that up or scrambling memories?

Yeah, you're right! His family blamed Carter for not helping his cousin although he knew about his drug problems.

Later, when Carter got drug problemes, too, Benton asked him if he wants to end up like his cousin.

Maybe I should buy some of the early years on DVD. But would I really sit down and watch them all?

I use to buy the DVD's just to watch my favourite episodes over and over again (like, for example May Day)...

If I see the early ones on sale, I might have a flutter. They look like they've got some decent featurettes. I'm a dork for that kind of thang.

I just caught a newish episode (2006, John Leguizamo was in it!). Parminder Nagra is hot. I wish I had something more constructive to say but there it is.

Ok this is my best serie ever!!! I love love to watch ER. I see it over and over again... As I live in Portugal the seasons are very late so here Carter is leaving know from the serie so I'm getting a little sad 'cause is my favourite! But I will continue to watch it
